Fuji Subaru Land is running its summer beetle-hunting experience in a dedicated forest area inside the park. The official operator page currently schedules the activity through July 31, with three short sessions each day and a maximum of 30 participants per session.
Key Facts For Travelers
What The Fee Includes
The operator says each participant receives one male and one female beetle plus an insect cage, even if they do not catch the insects themselves during the session. Every person entering the experience area, including an accompanying adult, must pay the experience fee.
Booking And Payment Rules
Advance web tickets are available until 3:00 PM on the preceding day. Same-day participation depends on remaining capacity, and on-site payment for the experience is cash only. The separate Fuji Subaru Land admission ticket is still required.
Traveler Actions
- Check the official reservation page for the actual sessions available on your date.
- Arrive at reception at least 10 minutes before the session; the operator says late entry is not allowed.
- Bring Japanese yen in cash if paying on the day and budget separately for park admission.
- Recheck the operator notice before departure because weather or beetle development can change the schedule.
- Plan how you will responsibly transport and care for live beetles before joining the activity.
