What Happens On The Special Train
Voice actor and artist Minori Chihara is scheduled to serve as a one-day conductor and make a special onboard announcement between Kawaguchiko Station and Fujisan Station. The train itself continues as an all-stations local service toward Otsuki.
The official notice identifies a three-car 6001-series set. Event timing and operations may move slightly depending on conditions on the day.
Tickets, Platform Access, And Crowding
No advance reservation or special event ticket is required for the 2:25 PM train. Passengers may use a normal railway ticket or IC card. Anyone entering the Kawaguchiko Station platform without traveling needs either a valid ticket or a JPY 180 platform ticket.
The operator recommends buying tickets before the event. The special train has limited capacity, so attendance at the ceremony does not guarantee a place onboard.
