Choose the Route Before You Register

Saturday’s routes extend toward the Mt. Fuji climbing road, Hana-no-Miyako Park, and Oshino Hakkai, with distances from 5 km to 30 km. Sunday’s Lake Kawaguchiko courses are 5 km, 10 km, or 20 km. Choose by realistic walking pace, daylight, weather tolerance, and any mobility needs rather than scenery alone.

Children of elementary-school age and younger must be accompanied by a parent or responsible leader. Anyone who needs assistance must attend with a helper. The same entry fee applies whether a participant walks one day or both days.

Registration and What to Bring

Advance registration is available through the event’s listed web entry site or by postal transfer. Same-day registration is also planned, but the town warns that participation gifts are available only while supplies last. Entry fees are not refunded after registration is cancelled.

The official packing list includes lunch, drinking water, rain gear, a hat, and a copy of a health-insurance card. Participants are also asked to bring a reusable cup. November temperatures around the lakes can change quickly, so use layers and carry rain protection even if the morning is clear.

Oike Park Access and Parking

The event headquarters is at Oike Park. Parking is available at the park and nearby, but drivers must follow attendants and must not use roadside or illegal parking. The organizer does not accept responsibility for theft or collisions in parking areas.

A large event can slow nearby traffic. Travelers not participating should still allow extra time around the Lake Kawaguchiko waterfront on both event days, especially near start and finish periods. Recheck the official page later because the detailed course map was still marked as being prepared when the information was checked.
