That routing can help travelers joining at Kawaguchiko, but it also means the trip is not the same nonstop pattern advertised for peak summer. Check the exact departure and reserved boarding stop before travel.
The Overnight Direct Service Has An Earlier End Date
Bus 1475 leaves Busta Shinjuku at 11:25 PM and is scheduled to reach the fifth station at 2:00 AM. The operator states that this late-night direct operation continues through Wednesday, September 9, one day before the September 10 daytime operating period ends.
The notice does not confirm what happens from September 11 onward. Do not assume the overnight bus continues after September 9; use the current booking system and official operating notices for any later trip.
Lake Motosu Travelers Also Need A New Plan
The summer extension of four Kawaguchiko services toward Saiko, the wind caves, and Lake Motosu is listed only through August 31. Travelers visiting those areas in September should use the regular local or sightseeing-bus timetable rather than an August highway-bus extension.
Service details apply based on the travel date, not when a ticket was reserved or paid for. Recheck the itinerary if you bought a September ticket earlier in the summer.
