The Yamanakako Village Tourist Information Center is at 506-296 Hirano. Its official spot page lists 9:00 AM-5:30 PM hours, Wednesday closure, parking, and access one minute on foot from the Bungaku-no-Mori stop on the Fujikko-go bus or nine minutes from Asahigaoka.
The Hirano Tourist Information Center is beside the Hirano bus stop at 69 Hirano. Its official page lists 9:30 AM-5:30 PM and warns that the counter may close during lunch. This location is especially practical for visitors planning walks or outdoor activities in the eastern Lake Yamanaka area.
What the Pin Represents
The official announcement says the small design includes the torii at Ishiwari Shrine, the large split rock, and Mt. Fuji. It is sold as a hiking or travel memento, not as proof that a person completed the Ishiwari Mountain route.
Do not attach the pin where it could snag on a backpack strap during a hike. Store it securely until after the trail, especially in rain or on narrow sections.
