The Fujiyama Liner links central Osaka and Kyoto with Fuji-Q Highland, Mt. Fuji Station, and Kawaguchiko Station without a daytime transfer. Fujikyu Bus published revised fares and a revised timetable effective July 9, 2026, with separate three-row and lower-priced four-row Light services.
Key Facts For Travelers
Outbound Night Schedule
The three-row coach leaves Abeno Harukas at 9:35 PM, Namba OCAT at 9:55 PM, Higashi-Umeda at 10:15 PM, and Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit F3 at 11:18 PM. It reaches Fuji-Q Highland at 8:13 AM, Mt. Fuji Station at 8:20 AM, and Kawaguchiko Station at 8:27 AM.
The four-row Light service follows 15 minutes later from Abeno, Namba, Higashi-Umeda, and Kyoto, then reaches Fuji-Q Highland at 8:18 AM, Mt. Fuji Station at 8:25 AM, and Kawaguchiko at 8:32 AM.
Return Schedule and Revised Fares
The return timetable lists departure from Kawaguchiko Station at 8:32 PM, Mt. Fuji Station at 8:44 PM, and Fuji-Q Highland Bus Terminal at 9:01 PM. Arrival is 5:57 AM at Kyoto, 6:53 AM at Higashi-Umeda, 7:13 AM at Namba OCAT, and 7:34 AM at Abeno Harukas.
For Mt. Fuji Station or Kawaguchiko Station, the July 9 fare sheet lists adult one-way prices of 10,700 yen from Osaka or 10,200 yen from Kyoto on the three-row coach. The four-row Light prices are 8,700 yen from Osaka and 8,200 yen from Kyoto. Confirm the seat type before payment because the price and layout differ.
Practical Overnight-Bus Planning
A next-morning arrival can save daytime travel time, but it is not equivalent to a hotel night. Bring an eye mask, keep valuables and essential medication with you, and avoid placing anything needed during the trip in the luggage hold.
Schedules can be affected by road, weather, or operating conditions. Use the operator’s current booking link and recheck the official route page shortly before travel, especially when connecting to a timed tour, attraction reservation, or local bus.
Traveler Actions
- Choose the three-row or four-row Light service before comparing fares.
- Arrive at the correct Osaka or Kyoto stop early enough to find the nighttime platform.
- Keep medication, passport, electronics, and valuables in your cabin bag.
- Allow buffer time after the scheduled morning arrival for road delays.
- Recheck the official route, timetable, fare sheet, and reservation conditions before paying.
