Skip Kawaguchiko Muse Museum on September 17 while its exhibition changes. The new display starts September 18; admission closes at 16:30.
Plan Around the Exhibition Change
Kawaguchiko Muse Museum, also known as the Yuki Atae Museum, is closed on Thursday, September 17 for an exhibition change. Visitors building a lakeside culture day should move this stop to Friday, September 18 or a later opening day.
The official facility page says the display changes from September 18, with a new theme centered on the four seasons and an accompanying display titled Oku no Hosomichi Zukan. This is a new September visit-planning update; the previous exhibition ended September 16.

Traveler Actions
Keep September 17 for other stops and leave time before 16:30 when returning. A lakeside stroll does not depend on museum admission, but weather still matters. If this museum is the main reason for your journey, call 0555-72-5258 or recheck the facility notice before leaving.
The operator currently lists only drinks and soft serve at the cafe, with no cakes or light meals. Arrange lunch separately instead of relying on the museum cafe.
