Fuji-Q Highland has published its September 2026 operating calendar. Most dates are listed as 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but selected Saturdays and the September holiday period run later, while individual attractions have scheduled closures or shortened hours.
Key Facts For Travelers
Dates With Different Park Hours
The official calendar lists 9:00 AM-8:00 PM hours on September 5, 12, and 26. September 19 is listed until 9:00 PM, while September 20, 21, and 22 open at 8:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM. September 23 also opens at 8:00 AM but closes at 7:00 PM.
All other September dates are currently shown as 9:00 AM-7:00 PM. These are park hours, not a guarantee that every attraction accepts guests until closing; queue cutoffs and weather-related changes can occur earlier.
Major Ride Closures To Notice
The published schedule lists FUJIYAMA closed on September 1, Eejanaika on September 2, ZOKKON on September 9, and Takabisha on September 30. Other attractions have single-day closures or partial-day restrictions throughout the month, including Fuji Airways on September 15 and Tondemina on September 16.
Red Tower appears on every date as unavailable until further notice. The operator warns that closure information can change without advance notice, so use the monthly calendar as a planning baseline and recheck the same page on the morning of your visit.
Build A Flexible Day Plan
If one headline coaster is the main reason for visiting, avoid its published closure date and identify a second-priority attraction before arrival. On extended-hour dates, do not assume a late park closing guarantees a late train or highway bus connection.
Review the return timetable independently, leave time to exit the park, and expect outdoor rides to pause in strong wind, rain, or lightning even when no maintenance closure is listed.
Traveler Actions
- Open the official September calendar for your exact visit date before buying a day pass.
- Check whether your priority ride has a full-day or partial-day closure.
- Choose a backup attraction because weather and operations can change on the day.
- Verify the last train or bus separately on late-closing dates.
- Recheck the official calendar on the morning of travel rather than relying on a saved screenshot.
