The official guide lists admission at 900 yen for adults, 700 yen for junior-high and high-school students, 350 yen for elementary-school children, and free entry for younger children. The prices include the applicable bathing tax.
Body soap and rinse-in shampoo are provided. A hair dryer costs 100 yen for five minutes, a small towel is sold for 220 yen, and a bath towel can be rented for 180 yen. Confirm current availability at reception rather than assuming hotel-style amenities are included.
Food, Rest Areas, And Entry Rules
Visitors may bring food into the building, but outside drinks are not allowed and rubbish from brought-in food must be taken away. The light-meal counter is not operating; the facility lists drinks, ice cream, and seasonal items for sale instead.
The facility’s published rules do not admit guests with tattoos, including small, fashion, or sticker tattoos. People who are intoxicated, unwell, or may have an infectious condition are also refused entry. Ishiwari-no-Yu is in Hirano rather than the busier Yamanaka side of the lake. If using public transport, check the current bus timetable and the walk from the selected stop before departure; do not assume a late bus is available after the 6:15 PM final entry.
